Stations Of The Cross
These Stations of the Cross are nearly two hundred years old. It was created originally for Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Niagara Falls. Entire set of fourteen Stations was poorly executed out of plaster and painted in beige tonalities. While looking at these images representing Christ's Passion, it was challenging to contemplate such essence of a Catholic devotion. I was asked by Fr. Paul McDonald who was parish's pastor, to restore and transform it the way I felt that it will bring back sacrum and contemplation. He entrusted me with choices of colors, tonalities and artistic expression.
